HOW TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
To book an appointment at Extended Lengths Salon, you will first need to download the Fresha app on your mobile device. Once you have downloaded the app, you will need to create an account by entering your personal information such as name, email address, and phone number.

After creating an account, search for Extended Lengths Salon in the app. Once you have found our salon, you will be able to see a list of services and products that we offer. Select the service you would like to book an appointment for, choose a date and time that works for you, and then click on the "Book" button.

You will then receive a confirmation of your appointment via text message and email. You will also receive reminder texts and emails leading up to your appointment to keep you updated and remind you of the details.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, you can do so through the Fresha app.
Simply go to your account, find your appointment, and make the necessary changes.

Hair Extension Consultation
Consultations take approximately 15-20 minutes and include: A full colour match,advice on the most suitable method, length, and thickness for your natural hair.

A personalised aftercare sheet covering the most common questions and how to care for your new extensions.
Consultation Fee: £25.00
​
This is a non-refundable booking fee and must be paid at the time of booking
If you decide to go ahead with your hair extensions, the £25.00 will be deducted from your final total.
The remaining balance for the hair and fitting must be paid on the day of your consultation.
Please arrive with freshly washed hair (no conditioner, oils, or styling products) so we can colour match accurately.

Hair Extension Fitting
Fitting appointments are typically scheduled around one week after your consultation.
Before your fitting: Please wash your natural hair using shampoo only, no conditioner, oils, or styling products. Hair must be blow-dried and lightly straightened before arriving to ensure a smooth and secure application.

At the start of your appointment, you'll be shown the hair extensions to confirm you're happy with the colours selected. Your natural hair will then be prepped, and the fitting will begin. Extensions are carefully attached and blended to ensure a seamless, natural finish.

The fitting process can take several hours depending on the method used and the amount of hair being applied.
Every fitting is a personalised experience, tailored to help you achieve your desired look and leave feeling confident.

Hair Extension Maintenance
Maintenance is essential for keeping both your natural hair and extensions in the best possible condition.
Over the course of 6-8 weeks, you naturally shed around 100-150 hairs per day. These shed hairs remain trapped within the extension method and build up over time as your hair grows.

As your hair continues to shed, it leaves less natural hair within the extension method to support the weight and tension of the extensions. Without proper maintenance, this can put unnecessary strain on your hair and potentially lead to damage.

To avoid this, it's crucial to attend your maintenance appointments within the recommended timeframe. If you are unable to do so, the extensions should be removed as soon as possible to prevent potential damage.
