I'm Chantelle, founder of Extended Lengths Salon in Essex. l've been creating dream hair since 2014 and have built a career I'm truly passionate about, combining client transformations with training the next generation of extension specialists.

 

My journey began after qualifying as a beautician. Although I enjoyed the industry, I realised it wasn't my true calling. While working part-time in a call centre, I had my first experience with hair extensions and after correcting a poor fitting on a friend, I discovered a natural skill and love for the process. I enrolled in my first hair extension course shortly after, and from there, everything changed

 

I started working mobile, travelling across Essex to fit hair around my job. Eventually, I took the leap and went full time with hair extensions. It was daunting, but within six months, my client base grew faster than I imagined.

As demand increased, I set up a small salon space in my mum's home, later moving it into my own house and finally transforming a garage into a beautiful, purpose-built salon where I now work.

 

After years of hands-on experience and non-stop growth, I now proudly run Extended Lengths Academy, offering masterclasses and accredited training courses. I'm passionate about helping others build their confidence, develop their skills, and create businesses they love, just like I did.

 

Today, I balance running the salon and academy part-time while being a mum to two amazing children. I'm so proud of how far l've come and excited for everything still to come for Extended Lengths.

 

If there's one thing I've learned, it's to never give up on something you love.
